Strawflowers and the dryable flowers have really made a comeback! In the spirit of slow flowers, these dried jewels enrich our winter months when we cannot grow fresh flowers in the same way. Lovely as a cut flower, both fresh and dried. For drying, harvest the strawflowers when they are half-flowering, they continue to develop after harvest. Bundle, either with or without leaves, and let them dry in a dry and dark place hung upside down.
